Hole-by-Hole
When out on the course, you don’t always have to “keep your head down”. Take some time to look around at the scenery and wonderful wildlife for whom Fairfield is home. If you’re fortunate, you’ll spot our small flock of Parakeets or a Kingfisher on the banks of the reservoir. You’d not fail to notice our resident geese and the swans are a joy to behold. Look out too for our favourite fish, “Gerald the Pike” who likes the warm sunshine in the shallows near the 17th tee.
Fairfield Golf Club is a Par 70 parkland course measuring 6,058 yards off the back tees. Whilst not the longest course, some tight tree lined fairways means accuracy off the tee is paramount. The course is bisected by the private Kings Road and bounded by the large reservoir giving ample opportunity for the less cautious golfer to fall prey to the course’s subtle dangers.
